The National Museum of
Women in the Arts, Northern California Council
- The NCC is one of the NMWA’s 21 state
committees promoting women in the arts. The members of the NCC and its
committees have diverse professional backgrounds, ranging from business
executives, museum personnel, artists, university professors, patrons of the
arts and numerous other areas. We share an appreciation for art and a desire
to develop greater awareness for those artists in Northern California. The
only requirement for membership is an appreciation for art and a desire to
promote, support and showcase women’s contributions in all areas of artistic
expression.
