International artists are welcome to submit artwork for this exhibition. The
exhibition is not juried. All artwork submitted will be shown. More info and

Please join us in our anniversary celebration by submitting your work for this
gala exhibition! A silent auction will be held of artwork from our represented
artists at the opening reception!
10 Featured Artist Awards will be chosen from this exhibition by Zeina Assaf.
Ms. Assaf is the director of the New York Studio Gallery. She is a well known
independent curator in the city, as well. The gallery will publish an exhibition
catalogue that will include work from the show of the 10 artists. The 10 artists
will be featured on the gallery’s website. Every artist in the exhibition will
have a listing in the catalogue with one thumbnail image. All of the artists in
the show will be archived in the past exhibitions pages on the gallery’s
website.
EACH ARTIST MAY SUBMIT 3 PIECES PER SUBMISSION FOR THE SHOW • No piece larger
than 12 x 12 inches, or 30 x 30cm will be accepted • Any type of work in any
medium may be submitted such as paintings on any type of ground (e.g. canvas,
paper, or other), photography, prints, collage, drawing, or any 3d work than can
hang on a wall. Framing is not required. All work will hang on a wall. No
freestanding work will be accepted at this time. 3-D artists, watch for our
tabletop assemblage exhibition set for May, 2010.

The Artful Scriptorium: An Artists Book Exhibition

EACH ARTIST MAY SUBMIT 2 ARTIST’S BOOKS PER SUBMISSION FOR THIS EXHIBITION.
Generally, no book should be larger than can be displayed on a 12 inch (30cm)
high podium style display, or that cannot lay conveniently on a table. Any type
or style of artist book including foldouts, accordion style (concertinas),
scrolls, or loose pages contained in a box, and in any medium utilizing any sort
of ground, or page materials, may be submitted. All sorts of binding are
welcome. Books that are purely creative text are welcome. However, books that
are meant to be read, as say a novel or where the text alone is the key to the
content of the book, and having no extra-creative aspect about them, will be

Show location: Annmarie Garden Sculpture Park & Arts Center, Solomons, Maryland
Eligibility: all media; must be 18 or older; indoor and outdoor works

Exhibition dates: June 12 - August 27, 2010
GREEN invites artists to submit works of art that confront ecological issues on
a local, regional, national, and/or global level. The exhibition objectives are
to present a collection that reveals the complex nature of environmental issues
and to generate a productive dialogue about the natural world. The jury is
particularly interested in art that educates the audience about environmental
crises; art that informs and interprets natural processes; art that reinvents or
reclaims abused environments; and art that celebrates our emotional and physical
connection to the earth. Ultimately, the jury seeks visually stunning and
philosophically compelling creations that educate, enlighten, and inspire

July 15, 2010: Call for Entries
Exhibition: The Art of Applied Design
The DHM Digital Gallery invites designers working in fiber, clay, wood, metal,
glass, or plastic to participate in The Art of Applied Design, an international
juried competition. Deadline: July 15, 2010. All submitted works must be
functional objects commonly used within interior spaces, such as furnishings
(hard or soft), utensils, fixtures, or containers. Objects that are purely
decorative are not eligible. Evaluation will be based upon uniqueness and
creativity, craftsmanship, and quality of the submitted digital image. The
online exhibit (from Sept. 15 to Dec. 1, 2010) will include e-mail addresses of
