Rogue Antics Artisan Festival: Celebrating Local Talent in Sioux Falls

Anticipation is mounting in Sioux Falls as a new series of pop-up art exhibitions is set to launch this spring at the 8th & Railroad Center. The Rogue Antics Pop Up Artisan Festival is designed to unite a diverse array of vendors and artists, providing a unique stage for local talent to flourish.

Scheduled to coincide with the farmers market, the festival will feature six events throughout the spring and summer. The venue is capable of hosting up to 25 artists per event, with many spots already claimed by enthusiastic participants. Organizer Tony Hewitt remarked, "We have a variety of vendors lined up, ranging from traditional artists to candle makers and home decor experts. Our aim is to showcase a broad spectrum of Sioux Falls talent, ensuring there's something for everyone."

The first event is set for April 22, with additional shows occurring monthly. Beyond art, the festival plans to incorporate food and beverage options, reserving up to 15 slots across all events to keep the selection fresh and exciting.

"The idea behind these pop-up shows is to provide artists with a dependable platform to exhibit their work," Hewitt explained. "We hope this regularity will motivate artists and creators to continue producing, knowing they have consistent opportunities to present their creations."

Artists interested in joining can contact Tony Hewitt for information on booth fees and space reservations. This initiative is poised to be a lively addition to the Sioux Falls arts community, encouraging creativity and fostering community involvement.
